ImpriMed, Inc. (“ImpriMed”) offers comprehensive services to ImpriMed’s veterinarian clinic customers (each a “Clinic Customer”), as set forth in the ImpriMed Service Terms & Conditions (such service referred to herein as the“ImpriMed Service”). As a result, ImpriMed may need to process limited data about those Clinic Customer’s clients in order to provide the ImpriMed Service on behalf of those Clinic Customers. This ImpriMed service privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is the way we handle information obtained through a Clinic Customer’s use of the ImpriMed Service.

PLEASE REVIEW THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. By using the ImpriMed Service, you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy and the ImpriMed Service Terms & Conditions, and consent to our collection, use, processing, disclosure and retention of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. The ImpriMed Service is intended for business customers located in the United States.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOUR INFORMATION, INCLUDING PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL BE PROCESSED BY IMPRIMED IN THE UNITED STATES. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT OUR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION IN THE UNITED STATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DISCONTINUE USING IMPRIMED SERVICE.

IMPORTANT – IMPRIMED IS NOT A VETERINARY CLINIC.  NOTHING PROVIDED BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY OR THE IMPRIMED SERVICE IS INTENDED TO INFER THAT IMPRIMED IS OFFERING ANY VETERINARY SERVICES OR ADVICE. ANY TREATMENTS IDENTIFIED BY THE IMPRIMED SERVICE SHOULD BE CAREFULLY REVIEWED BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN AND/OR ONCOLOGIST PRIOR TO UNDERGOING ANY TREATMENT.

I. Information Collection

A. General Information Collected For the ImpriMed Service

The ImpriMed Service is intended for Clinic Customers, and is not intended for general consumers. As such, the personal information collected by the ImpriMed Service is related to information relevant to the provision of service to a business, including contact information or related information accompanying necessary for the ImpriMed Service. Such necessary information may include, pet’s name, breed, gender, age, weight, hospital, oncologist, and any other information about a pet’s medical condition including the biopsy site, laboratory abnormalities, treatment history, known test results, and date of treatments.

B.  Payment Information

Payment Information will be processed when a Clinic Customer makes a transaction to use the ImpriMed Service. ImpriMed uses the third party payment processor Stripe to process payments related to the ImpriMed Service, and ImpriMed does not store any payment data related to debit or credit cards, including card numbers, expiration dates or associated card verification codes. In connection with transaction made with respect to the ImpriMed Service, ImpriMed may store certain information, including transaction history and a billing address information.

C. Information Collected Automatically

We also automatically collect usage data when you use the ImpriMed Service. Usage data is information about an individual's web or mobile application activity that, by itself, does not identify the individual, such as operating system you are using, the date and time stamp of your visit, domain name, referring URLs, and internet service providers. We collect usage data through the use of “cookies”and similar data collection tools. For more information with respect to how cookies are used and your control with respect to cookies, please see Section II entitled “Cookies and Other Information Collection Tools” below.

D. Information from Other Sources

Personal information necessary for the ImpriMed Service is provided to us by our Clinic Customers to processes on behalf of our business customers.

You may be asked to opt-in to receive a product and promotional emails or notifications when you submit online inquiries to ImpriMed. You can always click the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of email communications to opt out.

III. Cookies and Other Information Collection Tools

What are cookies? A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website or use an online service. When you visit the website or use the service again, the cookie allows that website or online service to recognize your browser or device.Cookies may store unique identifiers, user preferences and other information.

Duration of Cookies. We may use either “session cookies” or “persistent cookies.”Session cookies are temporary and expire once you close your browser or once your session ends. Persistent cookies remain on your device for much longer or until you or your browser erase them. Persistent cookies have varying durations that are dependent on their expiration date.

Why do we use Cookies? Cookies help us improve the ImpriMed Service by providing us with information about which parts of the ImpriMed Service is most popular, enabling us to analyze technical and navigational information about the ImpriMed Service, and helping us to detect and prevent fraud. We also use cookies and other data collection tools (such as web beacons, tags, scripts, device identifiers, and server logs) to help improve your experience with the ImpriMed Service. For example, we use Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the ImpriMed Service. These tools use cookies to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the ImpriMed Service (including IP address) is transmitted to our data collection tool service providers. This information is then used by us to evaluate visitors’ use of the ImpriMed Service and to compile statistical reports on website activity for ImpriMed. If you would like to opt-out from the use of your information by Google analytics, you may use Google’s analytics opt-out browser add-on designed for this purpose. 

How do I control cookies? Web browsers allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings. Some web browsers provide settings that allow a user to reject cookies or to alert a user when a cookie is placed on the user’s computer, tablet or mobile device. ImpriMed does not share your personal information with third parties for those third parties’ marketing purposes.

V. Payment Processing

We use the service provider, Stripe, Inc.’s (“Stripe”) service to process payments related to the ImpriMed Service. In the course of processing payments, Stripe will collect and process personal data that may identify you individually, including payment data (example, credit and debit cards, the cardholder’s account number, card expiration date, and card verification codes). All information collected through the use of Stripe’s services are subject to Stripe’s privacy notice found at https://stripe.com/privacy.

IMPRIMED MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO STRIPE’S SERVICES, THE COMPLETENESS OR ACCURACY OF ANY HYPERLINKS FOUND ON THE STRIPE WEBSITE, OR ANY APPLICATIONS STRIPE MAKES AVAILABLE TO YOU.

VI. Security Used & Retention of Personal Information

ImpriMed uses reasonable security measures designed to prevent unauthorized intrusion to ImpriMed Service and related website it is hosted on, as well as the alteration, acquisition or misuse of personal information; however, we will not be responsible for loss, corruption or unauthorized acquisition or misuse of personal information that you provide through the use of the ImpriMed Service that is stored by us, or for any damages resulting from such loss, corruption or unauthorized acquisition or misuse. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws or regulation.

VII. Links to External Websites

The ImpriMed Service may contain links to third party websites. Any access to and use of such third party websites is not governed by this Privacy Policy, but is instead governed by the privacy policies of those third party websites, and we are not responsible for the information practices of such third party websites.

 

VIII. Your California Privacy Rights

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents with whom we have an established business relationship are entitled to request and receive, free of charge, once per calendar year, information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses in the previous calendar year. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” law requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

IX. Additional Disclosures for Nevada Residents

Nevada law requires each business to establish a designated request address where Nevada consumers may submit requests directing the business not to sell certain kinds of personal information that the business has collected or will collect about the consumer. A sale under Nevada law is the exchange of personal information for monetary consideration by the business to a third party for the third party to license or sell the personal information to other third parties. X. Children

We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from any person under the age of thirteen. No parts of The ImpriMed Service is directed to or designed to attract anyone under the age of thirteen.
