Can the test be used on cats and other animals?

At this time, we only offer commercial services to canine lymphoma patients. However, we are conducting research into feline lymphoma so if you would like to submit a sample please sign up here if you are interested in feline services.

I have a leukemia patient. Can you run an assay on blood?

Yes, we do run assays on blood for a leukemia patient. Please send us at least 2 mL of whole blood in an EDTA tube.

How long can the media tubes be outside of that temperature before going bad?

We will send you another batch of media tubes you could use. Please make the supply request on the Vet Portal > Request Supplies page.

How long does the media last before expiring? How long is the medium good for?

The media has a 3 month shelf life. You can check the tube and look for its expiration date as well.

Does the veterinarian have to be the one to order the ImpriMed services?

No, any staff member affiliated with a veterinarian can submit or order via our portal so long as the leading veterinarian has an account setup.
